Enterprises that want to run large-language models, digital twins, or complex simulations on-prem now have a clearer path. At Computex, NVIDIA, a major player in the AI hardware space, just revealed its vision: specialized "AI Factories" built right within enterprises. NVIDIA introduced RTX PRO Servers built on the new Blackwell-based RTX PRO 6000 GPU and published an "Enterprise AI Factory" design that explains exactly how to wire, cool, and run them. The package is meant to switch rows of CPU boxes for a single, GPU-first platform that can handle design, analytics, and generative AI jobs at once.
What was announced
RTX PRO Server hardware: The new RTX PRO Servers have up to eight RTX PRO 6000 GPUs (graphics processing units) in one chassis, tied together with BlueField-3 DPUs, ConnectX-8 SuperNICs, and Spectrum-X 400 GbE switches. These are designed to speed up complex calculations for AI, product design, engineering simulations, and business software.
Validated design: NVIDIA is providing an "Enterprise AI Factory validated design," a reference blueprint that pairs the servers with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software, certified storage, and detailed deployment notes. The goal is "build once, repeat everywhere" rather than custom integration on every site. It specifies the servers, networking gear (like NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet), special processors (NVIDIA BlueField DPUs), approved storage, and NVIDIA's AI Enterprise software.
Why it matters
A single Blackwell GPU can serve multimodal inference, physics simulation, and photorealistic graphics. By pooling eight of them, companies can run AI training overnight, engineering simulation in the afternoon, and real-time rendering during demos without carving up separate clusters. That saves floor space, power, and, just as important, admin time.
Early customers
Foxconn plans an AI factory with 10,000 Blackwell GPUs to speed chip manufacturing analytics, electric-vehicle design, and robotics research.
Cadence and Eli Lilly are also on the list, trying to cut simulation cycles and drug-discovery runtimes.

Hardware makers Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, and Supermicro will ship turnkey racks based on the blueprint. Storage vendors ranging from NetApp to VAST Data have certified line-ups for high-throughput data feeds. Consulting firms Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, and Wipro will wrap services around the stack, smoothing the shift from CPU fleets to GPU fabric.
